Two exciting gigs coming up! First this Sunday Sept 18th I’ll be making my second appearance at The Mission Creek Music and Arts Festival, a great SF intitution now in it’s 15th year! The festival is spread throughout the city, and I’m playing an outdoor show that’s put on in association with The Capsule Design Festival in Hayes Valley Park (Octavia and Hayes). Should be beautiful weather with 4 great acts, including Paula Frazer and Passenger and Pilot. I go on at 2:30 and it’s free!
I’m also super excited to have been asked to play the inaugural Communion in San Francisco, which is the brainchild of Mumford and Sons keyboardist Ben Lovett, and has served as a rallying point for London’s folk scene. They’ve decided to launch it in SF and NYC next month, and to my shock asked me to join the bill! More details to come, but it’s Monday Oct 3rd at Cafe DuNord, and also playing are Little Wings, The Devil Makes Three, White Magic and Miss Lonely Hearts. This should be raw!
