The summer is flying by! So much is going on, I’ve hardly had a chance to keep you updated on it all. Here goes nothing!

A Sacramento Homecoming with Jackie Greene
A few weeks ago I joined Jackie Greene on organ, keys, and guitar. We played a sold-out benefit show in Sacramento, California; raising funds to support Fairytale Town, a theme park I frequented as a kid. I haven’t been there since childhood, and returning was magical-  playing with a band of troubadours to raise smiles, funds, and vibes for the next crop of young dreamers.

High Sierra Music Festival with Nicki Bluhm and Dr. Dog
Immediately, I was off to the High Sierra Music Festival in Quincy, CA. I’m now the keyboardist for Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers, which features members of California soul rockers The Mother Hips and ALO. We opened up the festival on the main stage and Dr. Dog invited me to sit in with them during their performance later that evening. What a high! Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers are playing out quite a bit right now, and you can catch us next at San Francisco’s Outside Lands Music Festival.

Steve Taylor Band on KALX Live! Radio Show in Berkeley
Rolling Stone Magazine recently named KALX among the top-five college radio stations in the nation. As you can imagine, Steve Taylor Band was psyched by our invitation to perform on KALX Live! – the station’s Friday night special in early June.

Synthesis Magazine Feature
I had a great time chatting with Chico’s Synthesis Magazine, who recently featured me in their publication. Thanks for taking interest in the Steve Taylor story, guys!

See you soon!
